A few weeks ago we posted some free printable coloring bookmarks and they have been more popular than I expected them to be.

Therefore, we want to publish a few more and as we are at the end of September, the coloring bookmarks in this blog post will be fall-themed.

Fall time is such a nice time of year. The days are a little bit more chilly and the trees start to turn into all kinds of different colors.

During fall the rainy days are getting more frequent and during those days we get to spend more time inside.

Even if our children enjoy jumping in puddles and they actually don’t mind if the weather is rainy, we tend to spend more time indoors as the weather gets colder.

One really nice activity that we like to do as a family when we are spending time inside is coloring. Coloring is such an easy activity that doesn’t require that much preparation but it keeps our children busy for quite a long time.

Coloring Pages With Bible Verses

“This is the day that the Lord has made;

There is so much power in being thankful. Acknowledging that every day belongs to God is a good way to start a new day.

That is something that I need to be reminded of often. God is the one allowing us to wake up every new day. Every day is a gift.

Some days it’s easy to thank God and other days it’s harder. I don’t know how your fall is going. Depending on the circumstances we are in it might be easy for some of us to be thankful and harder for others.

In moments when life is challenging, I often think about 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Verse 18 says to give thanks IN all circumstances. We don’t need to thank God FOR all circumstances.

Sometimes our circumstances are hard and challenging. In moment like that, we don’t need to thank him for all the hardships but we can know that God is still faithful and loving in the midst of that. We can thank him for not leaving us or forsaking us and for being our comfort when life is tough.

In Proper Time We Will Reap

Many Bible verses are great reminders that can help us keep our focus on the most important things. Using bookmarks with encouraging Bible verses can be one way to remind us of what God says about things.

One verse that has challenged me the past few months is Galatians 6:9.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9

Apples are a nice part of fall. We have really enjoyed apple picking in our family over the last few years. Usually, it is my husband who climbs up the apple tree and it is a very fun thing for our kids to watch.

Apples are really a favorite fruit year around in our household but it is extra special when you can pick your own apples directly from the tree.

Picking apples usually leads to baking and that also is a really fun thing to do as a family.

As apples are a part of fall, we thought we would make some coloring pages with apples. So here they are, we hope you will have a fun time coloring.

God also created you in such a beautiful way. When we get to know our creator and understand why he made us we start living the life that we were made for.

Fall is a time when we get to harvest the things that have been growing during the summer. If everything goes well with the things that have been sown during spring, there will be a reward for all the hard work that has been done.

For the last few weeks, I have been thinking about how things we sow sometimes take a lot of time before it is ready to harvest.

Last year, we planted wild strawberry seeds on our balcony. It took a couple of weeks before we could see something starting to sprout.

And for many weeks, the plants were so so tiny.

But at the end of summer, we got to harvest some wild strawberries. It took months for the strawberries to show up but they did slowly grow all the time.

As a mother, I can get impatient as I try to model healthy behavior to our children. Sometimes it feels so fruitless and it takes time for their character to grow.

So, God has been reminding me about consistency, that we need perseverance in order to see something grow well.

The Bible reminds us that we will reap what we sow. It is true. What we sow and nurture, will grow.

So let’s not become weary in doing good. Let’s not give up.

In Galatians 6 we can read that we will reap. If we sow, we will reap. But it takes patience. It’s not immediate. I guess that is the hard part. At least for me. Not knowing when we will see the fruit of our labour.

I think this is a good picture of parenting. We sow and serve, often not seeing some immediate result. We need perseverance.

Reminding myself that I don’t sow in vain is very necessary sometimes so I don’t give up.

Maybe you feel the same way sometimes, if so, don’t give up in doing good! You will reap in proper time.

2. If we sow generously we will reap generously.

If we are generous we will get generosity from others. What we model in our homes, will multiply.

Remember that what you sow is not in vain.

These last few years have been challenging for so many people. Things have happened that no one thought would and I think many of us are getting reminded of that there are many things that are uncertain in life.

Living with uncertainty can be hard, not knowing exactly what the future holds can feel daunting.

But through it all, we know one thing and that is that God always will stay the same. The truth about who God is and who He created you to be, will never change.

We will always be known by our heavenly Father.

God did not promise us an easy life. Life here on this earth won’t be easy.

But God’s faithfulness continues through all generations; God established the earth, and it endures. From generation to generation God’s faithfulness will be the same.

God has been faithful and will continue to be faithful. That is something that we always can trust.

Encouragement For A New Season

Even when seasons are changing, leaves are falling from the trees and maybe a lot of circumstances around us are changing. God is still the same.

I don’t know what this fall means to you, what you are doing, and how you feel. Fall time is a time when most of us go back to our daily routines and maybe some of us are going into something new.

We are all created by God in such an amazing way. God equipped you in such an amazing way. We are invited to live life together with him.

God loves you so much, not because of the things you do but because of who you are. You are a daughter/son to your heavenly Father.

I am a mom of three children, 6, 3, and 1 year old. Motherhood has been a journey. It has been beautiful. But it has also been challenging in ways I never expected.

There have been so many times when I have felt like it’s hard to even just stay at the surface. All the emotions that toddlers express, the conflict between siblings, and the amount of messes that are made every day have been overwhelming.

Before becoming a mom, I had no idea of what motherhood actually looked like. I had no idea. I am the youngest of four sisters so I really didn’t have any idea of what I got myself into.

I kind of wish I would have been better prepared but at the same time, it feels like this is one thing that I just have to learn step by step as every new season of motherhood unfolds.

One of the things that I used to love before becoming a mother, was to wake up and to have some uninterrupted time with God. I really just loved starting the day by reading his word and be in prayer and doing some journaling.

This has been a hard habit to keep on doing as a mom. But every time I have carved out time for reading the Bible and praying, it has been so fruitful.

In Psalm 33 it says that the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all he does.

I am convinced that when we read his word, when we are filling our minds with what is right and true, we will harvest things that are really good.

God is faithful in all He does.

What We Sow, We Will Reap

A Bible verse that I have been reminded of these last weeks is in Galatians Chapter 6.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”

Galatians 6:9-10

What we sow, we will reap.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” As I said earlier, life as a mom feels very overwhelming some days.

Some days it feels like the things that we try to teach our kids don’t really stick. Now with our kids being so small it is hard to see the fruit of what we are teaching them. Those days it’s nice to remember that we shouldn’t become weary about doing good. At the proper time we will reap what we sow.

By the time this blog post is getting published, September is a couple of days away, and the fall is officially starting very soon.

In this household, we are back to our normal routines, and as always, I really like this time of year. The weather is a little cooler but the days are still long and bright, and even if it’s cooling down it’s still not too cold either.

Soon the trees will turn into all these beautiful colors. We are really looking forward to that.

Right where we live, we have a lot of oak trees and acorns are starting to fall down onto the pavements. Acorns are therefore very connected with fall around here.

Bible Verses For Fall

During fall, there is time for harvest of all the things that have been growing during summer. It is also a time when the colors in nature change. Everything that felt so alive during summer will slowly enter the winter season.

Fall is very cozy, it’s time for warmer clothes, blankets, and candles. I really enjoy it, especially in the first weeks, when fall goes on and the weather is very wet and it gets even colder and darker, there are days when I long for summer again. 😉

But, through it all, we can be sure that there is one thing that never changes. God will never change. The word of God endures forever.

God is so faithful.

During these last few weeks, I have really tried to get back to a daily Bible-reading routine. I have realized that reading a few verses before starting my day, makes a huge impact on have the day unfolds.

God’s word is so encouraging. Reading his word at the beginning of the day makes me remember what God says and get my focus right for the day.

Right now, we have three quite small kids and they have many big emotions during the day. For me, it is important to remember that there is joy, peace, and patience in God and that he is with us even when life feels challenging.

August is slowly coming to an end and seasons are about to change. Summer is slowly turning to fall. The days are getting colder and the trees will turn into all these beautiful colors.

I really like fall time. It is a really special time when I think nature is beautiful and there are a lot of new things happening and it is exciting to step into new things.

Ephesians 3:20-21

God’s power is greater than anything we can imagine. In the verses leading up to verses 20-21, Paul was praying for the believers in Ephesus, that they, as they were rooted in the love that surpasses knowledge, would be filled to the measure of all the goodness of God.

He then continued declaring that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. It’s a great reminder that God’s power is greater than anything we could grasp or understand.

When we are willing to be used by him, that power is at work through us. And God, and only God is worthy of all the glory for ever and ever!

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1:17

God is the provider and he invites us to be a part of what he wants to do in our nations, cities, and neighborhoods.

God wants to show you what he sees in the people around you.

As God is revealing to you who he is and your mind and heart are being transformed by his truth, you are invited to share that truth with people around you!

God has equipped you in a specific way so that you can be a light and generously give from the things that God keeps blessing you with as you are walking in the things that he is leading you into!

We hope that these coloring pages will be a reminder of truth.

September is here and fall has officially started! The trees are changing color and the rain is more intense.

Fall time is such a perfect time to stay indoors and do some coloring. It’s always fun to have some coloring pages that are specific to the season, so here are a few new ones for you!

When I was a child we used to see hedgehogs in our garden sometimes. Hedgehogs are busy during the beginning of fall so during those weeks, we more often could see one even if they like to keep their distance from people.
