Looking at all the flowers, it is easy to remember that God is a very creative God and that he indeed creates very beautiful things.
This last weekend, I was out in nature with some friends, praying. I felt so thankful that there is so much in nature that reminds us about who God is.
These last few weeks have been challenging, all of our three children have been sick and we have not slept much at all. I have been feeling a little drained and tired for sure.
So last weekend it was very comforting to be surrounded by big trees, remembering that God is greater than our worries. I think it was part of his plan to make us smaller than some things that we see in nature.
Being smaller than the trees and the mountains gives us the opportunity to be out in nature looking up at these huge things that God has created and remembering that he is so big.
He is so so big and he cares for us. We get to be called his children and know that he sees us and cares for us.
In the same way, we get to see the flowers and know that he creates so much beauty.
He made you in such a fearful and beautiful way. I hope you will always know that very well.
