5 Free Printable Bible Coloring Pages with Scripture
These free printable bible coloring pages with scripture are some of our most popular coloring pages with bible verses that we have up on our website.
We are in November and it is always fun to see what kind of blog posts that have been the most popular the last year.
The number one category that has had a lot more traffic this last year is our coloring pages.
Coloring is one of our family’s favorite activities and during these past years, we have published quite many coloring pages here on our website.
We are very happy to see that so many of you have liked them!
On this website, we have a lot of different kinds of coloring pages. Some have thicker lines and fewer details so that they are easier for younger kids and some have more detail and thinner lines.
I thought it would be fun to gather some similar ones in one blog post so that if you like one of these coloring pages maybe the other ones could be interesting for you as well.
I am putting a lot of effort into organizing this website right now so that it will be easier to navigate for you who are looking for something specific.
In this blog post, I have gathered some coloring pages with bible verses. The lines on these pictures are quite thin so they are maybe more suitable for older kids.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.””
Joshua 1:9
These last weeks God has been reminding me of the promise He gives us to never leave us or forsake us. When we turn to him He will always be there.
A few weeks ago we were reading about Moses and the burning bush in our church and I once again was reminded of the response God gave Moses when Moses doubted that He was the right one to go to Pharaoh.
“But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.””
Exodus 3:11-12
God responds with “I will be with you”. He doesn’t point out why he thinks Moses is suitable for the task. He says “I will be with you”.
Often times when we are faced with a challenge we want to feel equipped and able to face it by ourselves. But God wants us to be dependent on Him. The answer is found in Him.
God did not promise us that life would be easy or that he would take away our weaknesses. God promises that when we choose to follow Jesus, He will be with us.
Coloring Pages with Bible Verse – Proverbs 16:24
“Gracious words are a honeycomb,
Proverbs 16:24
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”
Proverbs 16:24 says that gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Words truly have the power to build up or destroy.
Using our words wisely is very important.
This last year we have started to memorize scripture with our kids and this verse is definitely a verse we want to teach them.
In Genesis, we can read that when God created the earth He used words. He spoke and things took form. Only that really shows us that words have a very important place in creation.
We can use our words to destroy or build up.
When I was younger I thought that if words can be so harmful and deceitful, then maybe the best thing is to just stay quiet. However, I have learned that we can make such a positive impact on situations if we use our words to build up others.
An encouraging word can really change a person’s day. So let’s encourage each other!
Choosing a positive mindset and positive words is an active choice we need to make every day. It doesn’t always come easily, not for us adults and not for our children.
But if we can remind each other that our words really have power, we can be wiser with our words.
The coloring page above can also be a reminder to set the tone in our home in an encouraging way. When you are done coloring you can place it in a visible part of your home.
You were Created with a Purpose
We hope you will have a fun time coloring!
The words on the last coloring page “Fearfully and wonderfully made” come from Psalm 139.
This is the name of this website. The Swedish words for Wonderfully made are “underbart skapad”. Everything that God has created is made in such a fearful and wonderful way.
Looking around in nature truly reveals so much about who He is. God is so good to us. He is a loving father and he made you in such a perfect way.
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Psalm 139:14
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”
Verse 14 in Psalms 139 ends with “i know that full well.”. We hope that everyone from a very young age would know full well that they were created by a loving father in such an intentional way.
Your life has a purpose. God created you with so much intention. He wants to bless you and have a relationship with you.
You were created so that you could have a relationship with Him.
If you want to read more on that topic, you can find a lot more blog post under the category “devotionals”. Here my sister Marthina that is so talented in writing publishes new blog posts every month.
