I don’t know how you are doing right now, maybe you had a great summer, lots of time enjoying the sun and the warm weather. Maybe you had the chance to take some time of and rest.

Or maybe you, just like me, have been very busy with life. These last few months have been very busy for me. So this year I really feel like I would like to do exactly like the nature is doing. Slow down and pause for the winter.

I am really inviting in the earlier sunsets and is trying to make that allow myself to slow down in the evenings.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

Busy Hands Slow Down The Brain

During busy seasons, even when we try to slow down, it can be hard to do so. Even if we make an active choice to slow down and not do much it can be really hard to stop the never-ending to do list in our head.

During times like that, I have to keep my hands busy to calm down my head. One way of doing that is through doing something creative. Knitting is one of the ways I enjoy being creative especially as the weather is getting colder.
