Christmas Bible Verse Wallpaper

Here are some images that can be as wallpaper on your phone.

This fall I have been trying to not spend unnecessary time scrolling on my phone. One thing I did to remind myself of that goal was to have an image literally saying “stop scrolling” as a lock screen. I see that image many times a day reminding myself to not spend too much time scrolling on my phone.

You can find the image I have been using here below. I first thought I would just have it on my phone to get a new habit in but now I am thinking I will just leave it there, I think I will need a reminder to keep investing my time into restful things also as a new year is starting.

stop scrolling image with ideas to do instead

Starting A New Habit

Soon a new year is here and that is a time when many of us are motivated to maybe change a few habits that we know aren’t the best for us. Some of us start to exercise or maybe we want to eat healthier. Usually starting a new habit is the easier part and the harder part is to stick with it.

Before becoming a mom I studied Physiotherapy and as physiotherapists, we work a lot with motivation. A lot of the treatments we offer require that our patients actually do the exercises they are told to do.

We often need consistency to see progress and staying consistent with something is not always easy. So finding strategies to keep going when there is a lack of motivation is very important many times if we want to reach new goals.

Having an encouraging screen lock on your phone can be really helpful when you are trying to implement something new in your life.

The image above that I used to limit my time scrolling I made in Canva. If you like to design some easy graphics I highly encourage you to try to make your own backgrounds for your phone in Canva to remind yourself of what you are trying to achieve these coming months. Christmas Bible Verse Wallpaper

December is a wonderful time of year but it is also a month that can be stressful. For many of us, it is a busy time of year when we need to keep doing all the things we need to get done for our everyday lives at the same time as there are events happening that we want to attend and there are gifts to buy and so on.

Easily we can get caught up in all the demands of the season and in times like that maybe the reminder we need every day is to keep our focus on the reason we celebrate Christmas.

So in this blog post, you can find some images with Bible verses to remind you why we celebrate Christmas.

Wonderful Counselor Bible Verse Wallpaper

“For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.” And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Even long before Jesus was born we can read in Isaiahs about God’s plan that was to become reality later.

The power in the Christmas story is so great. Jesus came to save us.

“Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!”
2 Corinthians 9:15

The greatest gift God could give us was the sacrifice of his only Son.

When They Saw The Star, They Were Overjoyed

“When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.”
Matthew 2:10

When the wise men saw the star, they were overjoyed.

During the time of the birth of Jesus God lit a star in the sky. The birth of Jesus was not only for the people in Bethlehem and the people living close by, God made it clear that Jesus was born for all people.

Even people living far away got the news of the birth of Jesus through the star and they were overjoyed.

In the same way, as they were overjoyed over the news, we get to join them in that joy. The birth of Jesus changed history. He came to save us and we get to live in a close relationship with our creator once again.

“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” Luke 2:10

The news of the birth of Jesus brought good joy to all the people!

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
Luke 2:11

Jesus is our Savior, the Messiah that people had been waiting for.

Keeping Our Eyes On Jesus

So, through this December we get to celebrate the birth of the savior of all the people on this earth. We get to be overjoyed as the wise men were when they saw the star.

We get to be reminded of who Jesus is, that he is a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. Maybe God wants to reveal something new about who he is this December.

There is such depth to who God is and who he created us to be. You were so intentionally woven together by your creator when you were in your mother’s womb. God has many thoughts for you and he gives you a future of hope.
