Psalm 23 Coloring Pages – FREE Printable

Here are some free printable coloring pages with Bible verses from Psalm 23.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”

Psalm 23:1

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing! I like the confidence David has in the Lord in this first verse of Psalm 23. David knew that because the Lord was his shepherd, he would lack nothing!

Having that kind of confidence in the Lord comes only from knowing him deeply and trusting that He is a good father and that he is our provider.

“He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.”

Psalm 23:2-3

David continues; he makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

David knew God as someone who leads him to quiet waters and that refreshed his soul. God is faithful in giving us rest. He is our creator and he knows that we have the capacity to be creative and do a lot of things but he also knows that we need time spent with our creator and we need rest.

God knows our design and he is faithful in giving us what we need. Staying close to our creator is a good way to know that we will have what we need.

As I am writing this blog post we are on vacation as a family. We are enjoying the Scandinavian summer, enjoying some time off from work, and spending time visiting friends and family.

These weeks are weeks of rest (if that is possible with three small children :D) and we are thankful to spend time together not so focused on all the normal things that need to be done.

Even if our children keep us busy anywhere we go we are lucky to have family around us during these weeks that help us a lot with our children. So these weeks are weeks that we hope to be resting and maybe getting some energy for the upcoming fall.

I Will Fear No Evil, For You Are With Me

“Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.”

Psalm 23:4

“I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”. The first few verses of Psalm 23 talks about how God refreshes our souls and leads us to green pastures. God knows our needs and provides for us.

In verse 4 we are reminded of that even when we walk through the darkest valley, we don’t need to fear evil because our God is with us.

I have been reminded of the fact that the Bible talks about how we will walk through hard times but that we won’t be alone when life gets hard, many times these last months.

God never promised us that life would be easy, the Bible talks about hardships and all of us go through hard seasons. But God promises us to stay the same through every season of our lives.

When we understand how great God is and how great his power is we can have a lot of comfort in knowing that he is with us.

Processing In A Creative Way

Processing God’s word in a creative way is a good way to let God work on our hearts. Through doing something creative to process scripture I have had many really good moments when God has revealed new things about who he is and what is true.

These coloring pages can be used to process the verses from Psalm 23, God always has something new he wants to show us. He is never ending and there is always more that we can understand about who he is and how he sees us.

My Cup Overflows Coloring Page

“You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.”

Psalm 23:5-6

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.

Even when the seasons of your life change, God will always stay the same. God will never leave you, his goodness and love will follow you all the days of your life.

We hope that this summer will be a time when you can see how good God is. I don’t know if you are in an easy season or a hard season but you can know that God will always be good and he will always love you.

Follow Along As We Post New Resources

We publish a new blog post every week. We hope that this website will be a place where people can be inspired to be creative and also be reminded of who God created them to be.

Everything that God creates is made with so much intention. You were created with so much intention and so much love. God is not confused about your life or what the purpose of your life is.

God knows the plans he has for you, your future is full of hope. You were created by the creator of the universe. When we look around we can see so much of who God is in the things that he has made.

We can understand a part of how great God is when we look up to the sky and see all the stars and we can see how much detail God puts into everything he makes when we see the tiny details in flowers etc.

God is both so so big but also so interested in the smallest things. God sees everything that happens around you but he also cares so much about every detail of your life.

We hope that you will have a great week and hope to see you again soon.

Many blessings from us.
