Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup Recipe

Here is an easy pumpkin spice coffee syrup recipe.

Fall is here, and it’s the time of year when we get to enjoy Pumpkin Pie Spice Lattes.

It’s not very often that I go to a coffee shop because my kids don’t like that so much yet so this year I decided to learn how to make pumpkin pie spice lattes myself.

I am very happy with how they turn out and they are a lot more healthy than the ones you buy from the coffee shop so this is a nice way to get to enjoy good coffee with a taste of fall without having too much sugar.

The full recipe on how I make pumpkin pie spice lattes at home will be up on the blog in a week or two but today I want to share how to make homemade pumpkin spice coffee syrup.

This coffee syrup can, of course, be added to just a normal cup of coffee to get that sweet taste of fall without making it to a latte.

This coffee syrup is quite easy to make so here we go.

Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup Recipe

1,5 cup water
2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice blend
1 cup white sugar

Put water into a saucepan. Add 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice blend. Bring to a gentle boil. Simmer on low for 5-10 minutes.

Pour through a fine-mesh sieve to extract most of the spices. Add 1 cup of white sugar and bring to boil once again. Simmer on low for 10 minutes.

The longer you let it simmer, tae thicker your coffee syrup will be.

Let it cool and pour into a container.

I store the coffee syrup in a glass bottle that I sterilize with boiling water before pouring in the coffee syrup.

Now: make a coffee and enjoy.
