A thank you motivates us to keep blessing other people. So even if “Thank you!” are such easy words to express and it can seem like it doesn’t matter so much, we shouldn’t underestimate the effect a “Thank you!” can have on the receiver.

Flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Flowers are something that we often give to someone as a gift. The first coloring card is a little bit less detailed so if you have smaller kids and want to print out something that is quite simple to color, you could choose the first one.

The first coloring card has the size of A5 and the last two are the size 15 cm x 15 cm. If you don’t have thicker paper at home for the printer but you happen to have some colored cardboard or something like that, you could print them out on regular paper and glue them to some cardboard to make them more card-like.

A grateful heart is powerful. When we are thankful we are less likely to complain and focus on the negative things. A thankful heart can’t be bitter. So showing thankfulness is not only for the person that receives a “Thank you!”, it is often also an attitude shift for the one choosing to be thankful.

Another thing that being grateful prevents us from is to take things for granted. Taking things for granted can rob us of so much joy.

“This is the day that the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24

No matter how much we own we could always have a little more money and there is always something more to wish for. If we choose to be thankful for the sunrise, the beauty in nature, and the people around us that God has blessed us with, it will keep us from taking things for granted.
