Encouraging Bible Verses

Wallpapers With Bible Verses – Encouraging Bible Verses

Here are some wallpapers with Bible verses that you can download and use on your phone.

Our phones have become very important items we use so many times during our day. On our phones, we receive and respond to messages, and call people, and we also use them for so many other things.

I am a person who really likes paper calendars and notebooks but slowly I have started to use the apps on my phone more for planning my days as well.

Most of us look at our phones many times throughout our days so having an encouraging wallpaper can be a good way to stay encouraged during our everyday life.

The Name Of This Website

The name of this website Underbart skapad comes from the Swedish version of Psalm 139. Translated to English, underbart skapad means wonderfully made.

We hope that this website will be a place to find inspiration and joy in being creative and also that it will be a place where you will be reminded of who God is and that you were created in such a wonderful way.

During our everyday lives, we get so much information and messages from so many different places. Social media, the news, and advertisements tell us what the latest trends are and how we should live our lives so that we will feel well.

In the midst of all the information coming our way, it is so good to find ways to be reminded of what God says to us.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet,
    a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105

This is one of the Bible verses that I have been reflecting on for the last few months. Sometimes I have read this Bible verse and thought about the lights that light up the streets nowadays. The lights brighten up the whole area and you can see very far ahead.

The lamps that were used during the time when this Psalm was written were very small, they lit up the path for the next few steps but you couldn’t see the path that far ahead.

So many times in life, I have wished that God would light up the whole path that I am on so I could see everything that is coming. But I have learned that many times God shows us the next few steps but we can’t see exactly where the path is heading.

I have learned that life with God requires us to trust him and to take steps in faith even if we aren’t fully sure where we are heading.

But we can always know that God is faithful and he has our very best in mind.

“We love because he first loved us.”
1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us. This can be a really good reminder during long days where we meet all kinds of challenges. We don’t need to love others out of our own strength but we get to give to others what God already has given us.

Images With Bible Verses

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
John 14:27

For a few years, I and my husband worked with YWAM, Youth with a Mission, which is an international missions movement that you can find all around the world.

That was a time when we got to take part in so many good teachings. One of our teachers once said that God was teaching her to not sell her peace that cheap.

Our circumstances can rob us of our peace very quickly. I think all of us agree that life isn’t that easy and almost every day we face things that easily can make us discouraged.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled”. This verse indicates that we have an active role in not letting our hearts be troubled. In everything we get to come to our heavenly father and be honest with the things that feel overwhelming.

“Peace I leave with you”, Jesus promises. There is a peace that surpasses all our understanding.

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.”
Psalm 139:13-14

This verse is the Bible verse that is the inspiration behind this website. As said earlier underbart skapad are the Swedish words for wonderfully made.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God was so intentional when he made you. Your life has a purpose.

Wallpaper With A Bible Verse For Fall

Graphic with Bible verse

“As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.”
Genesis 8:22

When this blog post is published we are in the middle of September and having a fall themed wallpaper feels quite fitting.

We Live By Faith Bible Verse

“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7

For we live by faith, not by sight. This is a verse that is included in a blog post that we published about having faith and trust in God.

Graphic With Proverbs 4:25

“Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you.”
Proverbs 4:25

Sometimes we need a reminder to keep our eyes on the things ahead and so we don’t get stuck in the things from the past.

God has so much good in store for you.

The Truth Sets You Free

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32

If we hold on to the teachings of Jesus, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.

There is so much power in the truth. Not long ago I heard someone say: that lies feed fear and the truth feeds faith.

Let’s choose truth. Knowing the truth, we can live by faith.
