6 Of The Most Powerful Bible Verses

Here are 6 of the most powerful bible verses in the Bible.

These last months I have been taking a course about blogging. I have learned a lot about keywords and keyword research.

I have understood the importance of making it easier for people to find the blog posts that I am writing.

Everyone who ever has tried blogging knows that there is a lot of time that we spend on writing content that we hope will be helpful to others. It would then be foolish to not try our best to help others find that content that we make. Blog posts that aren’t found are no help to anyone.

So like so many other bloggers I am now researching what questions people are searching the answer for. Researching what words people are typing in on Google when they are wondering about something shows a little bit about what is on their minds.

As I was researching I found that the keywords “the most powerful bible verses” are quite often searched for. That made me wonder, why so. Why are people looking for the most powerful bible verses of the Bible?

As we read the Bible we see that there is a theme through the whole Bible. God creates the earth with animals and people to live in it. Everything goes wrong and the people turn their back to God.

But the God we can read about in the Bible is a merciful God, we can see that He chooses to forgive, and He even sends His only son to earth to die so that we can be reconciled with Him again.

There is so much power in the story of the Bible. Let’s look at some of the verses that show some of the power of the story.

6 Of the Most Powerful Bible Verses In The Bible

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

John 3:16 is one of the most known Bible verses, it is that known that maybe sometimes it can be overlooked. But truly, this verse has so much power.

God so loved the world that He sent His own son to die for us so that we once again could live closely with Him and have eternal life!

If I had to name the most powerful Bible verse of the entire Bible, John 3:16 maybe would be it.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:35-39

There is nothing that can separate us from the love of Christ. Christ came down to this earth to be fully man and fully God. He died on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. The power of the cross is so big!

The Power Is From The Lord But The Choice Is Ours

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” “

1 John 1:9

The choice is still up to us. Jesus opened the way but we still need to take the step to believe and choose to follow Him. If we confess our sins, He will forgive us. We are purified from all unrighteousness.

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”

Romans 8:11

If we then take the step, we choose to repent and give our life to Jesus we are a part of His legacy. The spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living in you!

The Holy Spirit lives in you! The power of God is available to us. God is such a powerful God.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

Ephesians 6:10-18

In order to stand firm against the evil one we need to keep our focus on the right thing.

As I see it, the most powerful bible verses are the ones that tell us to core of the story of the Bible. The ones that tells us that victory is won through Jesus.

But it is also the ones that instruct us on how to stay firm in our faith. When we give our lives to Jesus, we need to stay on the right path in order to not lose faith and be lost.

Taking on the whole armor of God is powerful! We need to know the truth, and know the word of God. We need faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one etc.

Remembering the armor of God is important and powerful!

“With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.”

Psalm 108:13

Even in the old testament, the people of God knew that victory was won with God on their side. God has been, is and always will be the same.

“What Bible Verse Can Change Your Life?” – Powerful Bible Verses

As I was doing keyword research I found that another of the questions that people quite often search for is “What bible verse can change your life?”.

How cool isn’t that? People are truly searching for answers, they don’t only want to know the power of the word, they want to be changed by it!

Knowing the word truly changes us. I think a big part of letting the word change us comes from knowing it and living it out.

Truly, knowing and believing the word and the character of God creates confidence in Him. When we trust God we can start really believing what the word says. When we believe the word, it can transform us.

Do We Truly Believe What We Believe That We Believe?

Many years ago now, I got the question, “Do we really believe what we believe that we believe?”

At first, I thought that question was so strange. Of course, I believed what I believed! But slowly God started to show me that even if if thought that I believed He was good etc, I didn’t fully trust it.

So, sometimes I think we need to ask ourselves the question if we really believe what we think we believe. Are you?

We hope that you are encouraged by these Bible Verses. If you have a Bible verse that you are thinking about that has changed your life it would be really nice to hear from you.

If you want you are more than welcome to leave a comment and tell us what that verse is. We are always very happy when we hear from our readers.

We will keep on posting a new blog post every week so hope to see you soon here again!
