Christmas season is flying by this year, at least in our family. It is a really exciting time of year, especially for our 5-year-old daughter. She is really taking everything in this year.
As our kids get older, the questions they have about Christmas are getting deeper and deeper. It is truly a gift for us as parents as well to get to think about the true meaning of Christmas so often this year as our daughter is asking us about it.

God chose to send his only son to die for us so that we could live in a close relationship with him again. He is so good to us and we know that He is still the same. And he will always be the same.

The child will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace! Jesus is described to us in so many ways in the Bible. It is hard to really understand the greatness of the fact that God sent his son to this earth to die for us.
Jesus changed history! I am so so grateful to have the opportunity to tell our kids that great news. I hope to have many more conversations with them about what the true story of Christmas really means to us.
