It’s the start of May and spring is in full bloom and summer is coming closer. It is a sweet sweet time when everything is coming alive in nature again.
We as a family have really enjoyed the flowers that are blooming and the warmer weather. It is so so nice with some more sunshine again.
Spring came late this year here in this part of Sweden where we live which makes it, even more, longed for.
This winter has been a looong one for our family. It has been cold but also we have had so many days of being sick and tired as a family. We have had chicken-pox and fevers and infections. It has been a tough winter for us, maybe the toughest winter in my life. Without exaggeration.
So, with that said, you can understand that this spring, the sun and warmth feel so good.
I don’t know how this winter has been for you. If you also have experienced some harder months, then we hope that you will be filled with a lot of new energy and strength from God this summer.

Coloring is a fun activity for both younger and older kids. It is definitely one of our kids’ favorite things to do and I can also find it a very relaxing way to spend some time together.
This past winter and spring has definitely been a busy one for our family and in the midst of the business of life, I have really enjoyed some quiet time spent together and coloring is one of those activities that calms down our children and gives them an outlet for their creativity.
We always enjoy following the changing seasons in nature and having some season-specific coloring pages on hand.
About a year ago we published some free printable coloring pages with butterflies that still are very popular, so we thought we could make a few more.
