God calls us to have a generous heart! God is a generous God and he created us to be image-bearers and live generous lives.
God will bless you abundantly when you choose to generously give what God has given you to other people!
As God blesses us with abundance we can bless people around us with abundance.
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21
God’s power is greater than anything we can imagine. In the verses leading up to verses 20-21, Paul was praying for the believers in Ephesus, that they, as they were rooted in the love that surpasses knowledge, would be filled to the measure of all the goodness of God.
He then continued declaring that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. It’s a great reminder that God’s power is greater than anything we could grasp or understand.
When we are willing to be used by him, that power is at work through us. And God, and only God is worthy of all the glory for ever and ever!
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1:17
God is the provider and he invites us to be a part of what he wants to do in our nations, cities, and neighborhoods.
God wants to show you what he sees in the people around you.
As God is revealing to you who he is and your mind and heart are being transformed by his truth, you are invited to share that truth with people around you!
God has equipped you in a specific way so that you can be a light and generously give from the things that God keeps blessing you with as you are walking in the things that he is leading you into!
