Free Printable Cards with Bible Verses for Easter

Here are some free Printable Cards with Bible Verses for Easter.

Easter is a time when we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. A time when we are reminded of God’s great love for us, the power in the resurrection, and the freedom we get to live in because of what happened so many years ago.

There are no words to describe the greatness of what Jesus did for us.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this: ta lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Jesus laid down his life for us.

““Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.”

Luke 22:42-44

Maybe one could think that it wasn’t that hard for Jesus to die because he knew why he had to do it and he knew that he would rise again. But we can see in Luke chapter 22 that Jesus was in anguish.

Jesus was fully human and he had to suffer a lot on his way to the cross.

Jesus went through death to save us. There is no greater love than the love that God has for us.

Here are some printable cards that you can use as a way to remind yourself of the truth. They can be used as decor in your house or as an encouragement to a friend.

Printable Cards with Bible Verses for Easter

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?””

John 11:25-26

“Whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” If we choose to believe in Jesus and follow him, we will spend eternity with him.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

1 Peter 1:3

“In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” It is through his great mercy that we were saved by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We did not do something to deserve a savior. God sent his son to die for us because of his great love for us. God loves us unconditionally, there is nothing we can do to make him love us more or make him love us less.

He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”

Luke 24:6-7

“He is not here; he has risen!” Jesus died but he rose again. Jesus is alive. Death was defeated once and for all.

“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

Romans 6:8-11

“Death no longer has mastery over him.” The victory is won, once and for all.

So, during Easter, we get to celebrate that death is defeated. Jesus went through so much pain to save us.

You are so loved by your heavenly Father.

God’s Love Is Unconditional

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Ephesians 2:8

It is by grace that we have been saved. It is a gift from God. We can’t do anything to deserve God’s love. God loves us because of who we are not because of what we do.

God longs to spend time with us. We were created so that we can be in communication with him and do life together with him.
