“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

God Keeps His Promises Bible Verses

“God keeps every promise he makes. He is like a shield for all who seek his protection.”

Proverbs 30:5 GNT

The Good News Translation of Proverbs 30:5 says that God keeps every promise he makes. He is a shield for all who seek his protection.

“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
    and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
    and faithful in all he does.”

Psalm 145:13

“The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” The Lord is trustworthy and faithful.

All throughout the Bible we can see that God is faithful.

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”

Hebrews 10:18-23

Verse 23 in Hebrews chapter 10 encourages us to hold unswervingly to the hope that we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Remembering that God is faithful and choosing to keep our eyes on Jesus makes a firm foundation to stand on even on harder days.

God Is Faithful

God has so much in store for you.

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.””

Hebrews 13:15

“Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:30-31

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Over and over again we can see that the Bible says that those who hope in the Lord will find rest. Our part is to choose to hope in the Lord, to choose to trust in him.

The choice of trusting God is a choice that we need to make. If we choose to trust, He will be faithful.

Where Do We Place Our Trust?

The other day I read the quote:

“If you can’t rest from it, you are a slave to it.”
Unknown author

Let’s not be enslaved. God is our rock, He is the one that deserves to be placed on the throne. Let’s make sure nothing or no one takes his place in our lives.

If we ever feel like we just can’t find rest from a certain thing, it has most likely taken a place in our life that it wasn’t designed to take.

Some days we might need to be reminded of the fact that God is faithful. We can with great confidence let God reign in our lives and know He has our best interest in mind.

These coloring pages can be a reminder that God always is faithful. Feel free to use them in a creative way. When you are done coloring you can place them in a place you will see during your day to be reminded of his faithfulness when you need it.
