Christmas Coloring Pages with Bible Verses
Here are some free printable Christmas coloring pages with Bible verses for you!
Christmas is a wonderful time of year.
It is a time of getting together with family and friends and it is a time of generosity.
Many years, especially as I was younger I almost lost sight of the most important part of Christmas, just because so much is going on at the same time.
But, really, the most important thing is of course remembering that a Savior was born so so many years ago.
Jesus was born to give us new eternal life so that we once again could have a close relationship with Him.
“For a child is born to us,
Isaiah 9:6
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Christmas Coloring Pages With Bible Verse – Isaiah 9:6
Christmas is also a time of doing crafts and decorating. It is very fun to be creative and to enjoy all the beauty of the season!
These Christmas coloring pages with Bible verses can be used as a card for a friend or in some other fun way.
“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
Luke 2:10
The news that Christmas reminds us of is so amazing! In Luke 2:10 some people watching some sheep had a visit from some angels. The sight of the angels made them terrified.
They were told to not be afraid and that the news of Jesus would cause great joy for all the people.
Jesus being born and saving us from our sins through later on dying on the cross for our sins truly changes it all for humanity.
Christmas Bible Verse about The Reason for the Season
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”
Titus 3:4-7
We were not saved because of the righteous things that we had done. Jesus died for us when we were still sinners.
All that happened, Jesus coming down, living here on this earth, and then dying for our sins and later rising from the dead, all happened because of God’s great mercy.
God loves you so so much! God loves us in an unconditional way. He loves us because of who we are not because of what we do.
We can also read in the Bible about that God’s love for us is like when a shepherd loses one of his sheep, he goes out to look for that one lost sheep.
Every person is so valuable to God. You are valuable! You are so loved. Jesus died for you!
If you still are living in doubt, this is an encouragement to you. We were saved by grace! No one is ever too far gone!
God is a God of second chances.
So, let this Christmas season be a time of being with God. Spend time with other people who know the Lord. Let the news of the season sink in.
Slow down and pick up a Bible. Read about all the things that Jesus did while He walked on this earth.
And tell a friend that you think need some encouragement.
We hope you will have a very blessed holiday season.
Hope to see you again soon!
Many blessings from us at Wonderfully Made
