Proverbs 31 is an encouraging but also challenging chapter to read as a wife. When I read it I feel challenged and motivated at the same time.
Verse 25 says “She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future.”. The first time I read this verse I felt like, wow that is something really good to strive for.
What if I could be so rooted in God’s faithfulness, fully trusting in Him for everything lying ahead that I would be totally without fear of the future?

There is no fear in love! Perfect love drives out fear. God’s love is so perfect. Living in the identity of a loved child drives out fear.
When I feel like fear is taking over, I know I’m not placing my identity in Him. Fear is a sign that everything isn’t alright on the inside.
If you are anything like me, and sometimes feel fear taking over, know that God wants to meet you and show you what you need to change to live in the identity he has given you!
