The year of 2023(!!!) is getting closer. 2022 is coming to an end!!? How on earth did that happen?? I feel like this year truly just flew by!!
This year we have welcomed a new baby to our family. That baby, our sweet sweet baby girl, is already 6 months old, I can’t believe that either.
A part of me is always sad as the year is coming to an end. But mostly it is very exciting to look into the next year and pray and dream about what the new year will bring.

Spending the last weeks of the year remembering that Jesus Christ was born on this earth for our sake, him being born and later dying and resurrecting from the dead is so amazing. It helps to start the new year with the most important thing in mind.
The fact that God sent his son to the earth so that we could live closely with him and have eternal life is so humbling.
Praise be to our Heavenly Father!! He deserves ALL of our praise!
Starting The Year Focusing On What God Has For Us
During my teen years, I spent new years eve at a Christian camp and we usually spent the last minutes of the old year and the start of the new year on our knees, giving the new year to God.
I still remember those years as some of the best new year eves of my life. I guess I should keep up with a tradition just like that.
God is so worthy of all our praise.
He deserves our thankfulness for the year that has passed and he deserves that we surrender the year 2023 to him!
God has many things in store for you this coming year.
He longs to spend a lot of time with you, he has so much he wants to show you.
