Traveling is fun but I think we all agree that it can get boring after a while. Bringing a good book or some kind of creative activity can be a good idea when the hours feel long.
Some of my favorite activities when traveling for many hours were reading and knitting before I got kids. Now we have three small kids so they tend to keep me busy through the whole trip. đ

Hot air balloons make me think of adventure. I have never been in one, I don’t know if I have the courage to đ but they are such a cool thing to see from down here.
This next coloring page is already published on our website in another blog post but I thought it would fit well here in this blog post as well. The lines are thin on this coloring page which make it more challenging.

Over and over again in scripture, we can read that we don’t need to be afraid or discouraged. And over and over again, we can see that the reason for that is not because of who we are but because of who God is.
God is so big and so powerful. He is faithful to us and wants our very best. God is a Father that knows you so well and that wants your best.
You are seen and you are loved.
Knowing God’s Character Makes Us Trust In Him
When we first meet a new person it would be hard for us to trust this new person and know that the intentions of that person are good.
It doesn’t matter if that other person would tell us about how skilled they are and that we can trust them, still I think most people need to get to know someone to really truly trust them.
I think the same thing works with God, when we spend time with him and let him show us his character through his word and through his guidance our trust in him starts to grow.
We can know a lot of things about God without really knowing him. In order to get to know him we need to spend time reading his word, praying, and letting him guide us in both small and bigger decisions.
I think that we sometimes have the tendency to feel the need for God’s guidance when we are faced with big decisions. At those important moments in life, it is very wise to seek God and ask for his guidance.
However, I have learned that it is much easier to be confident in God’s guidance when we practice in the small moments in our lives. When we get into the habit of including God in our everyday life it is easier to rest on him when we are facing bigger decisions.
On Adventure With Our Father
These last few years, we have had three babies so now we are a family of five. I did not know much about what to expect from life as a mom, I have had to learn much just by doing. I am the youngest of four sisters and did not have much experience in taking care of kids.
One thing I have learned is that your character as a mom is being tested deeply. In some strange way, you are meant to fully function and be patient and kind even during days following nights without sleep.
Being a mom has stretched me in ways I have never been stretched before. I have had to learn to depend on God’s provision of patience so many times.
Even if it has been hard sometimes, I have seen God’s faithfulness in every situation. It gets easier and easier to trust him all the time because he keeps being faithful.
