Verses About Thankfulness – Free Printable Cards

Here are some Bible verses about thankfulness with some free printable cards.

Gratitude is mentioned so many times in the Bible. Choosing gratitude is a very effective way of keeping our focus on the right things.

Fall is a time when we get to enjoy many things that have been growing during the summer. Being out picking blueberries and apples, we are reminded of how richly God blesses us.

We have three small kids and their excitement when we are out in the woods picking berries or picking apples is contagious. When we get older our excitement seems to fade but it is so nice to join in on our kid’s excitement now when they are small.

Here in Scandinavia, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but in the last few years, we have celebrated it because of our American friend. It has been a nice new tradition to fall-time.

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
    I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”

Psalm 9:1

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart.” We get to thank God with all our hearts, thankfulness gets to be something that is a part of our everyday life.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.””

Hebrews 12:28

We are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. God will never change. We can thank him and give praise to him today and know that his promises will always stay the same.

The character of God cannot be shaken, we will always have a faithful and good Father that loves us.

Image with flowers and Psalm 7:17

“I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;
    I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.”

Psalm 7:17

“I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord most high.” God is so big, he is the founder of everything, the creator of all. He deserves all our praise.

Image with leaves and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Give thanks in all circumstances.” Sometimes our circumstances are easier and sometimes they are harder. I like it how it says to give thanks IN all circumstances not FOR all circumstances. No matter our circumstances, God stays the same and we can keep on thanking him for his faithfulness.
