Every Thursday, I, together with my two kids, 4 and 2 years old, are a part of a kids group called Kings Kids. This fall, we have been talking about the different names God has.
Did you know that, depending on how you count, there are 700 different names of God in the Bible? That includes all the “nicknames” and different forms of describing God in the bible. God is so big, no question about it.
This week at the Kings Kids group, we talked about how God is a God who sees. He sees everything and everyone. God sees the small things and has the big perspective. He sees your heart and your thoughts.
Everything was made by him and he knows everything including the smallest detail!

God created the earth and everything in it. It all belongs to him. He had many plans and thoughts about this universe before he created it. He created it all in a very intentional way. Just as he planned this universe, he also planned how to create you.
When we read the Bible we can understand more about why we exist and for what reason.
God has the big perspective and sees the whole universe. But just because he has the big perspective he doesn’t forget about the details.

He knows our thoughts and sees our hearts. The Lord is the best comforter. He knows us even better than we do ourselves.
God is the one who designed us, he knows the plans he had for us before we were born. He wants to show us who he is and why he made us.
God knows when we sit and when we rise. Your life is significant for him. On the days that sometimes might feel insignificant, remember that you are not forgotten. God sees you and thinks that your life has a lot of value.
God sees you. I don’t know what kind of season you live in right now. Maybe you are in a really busy season or maybe your life feels mundane. But no matter how your life feels right now, know that God sees you and he thinks your life is important and has a lot of value.

Everything we do, we get to do for his glory. We can give him glory through everything we do. If we are at home taking care of our children we can give him glory. When we are at work or at the university, we can give him glory. Through everything we do, we can give him glory.
And through thanking him for every blessing he gives us, we also get to acknowledge that every gift comes from him.
When we choose to acknowledge him as our creator we also give him the glory for the beauty of it all.
