The summer is coming closer and the bees are coming out. To be honest, I’m not that thrilled over bees, I would rather have a picnic without these visitors. 😉 But my children are, as with everything else, very fascinated by them. 😀

So, trough the excitement of my children I get to appreciate bees in some way at least. And of course, all the honey they make. I really appreciate that! 😉

Anyway, bees are a part of summer and apart from bees we are really enjoying this season of long long days and warmer weather.

But summer also comes with rainy days, and during those days coloring is a nice activity to do with your kids. Coloring is definitely one of our favorite things to do as a more quiet activity to do indoors. Coloring gives our kids a way to be creative and I actually really like to color as well! 🙂

“Gracious words are a honeycomb”, they bring healing to the bones. The power of words is a good reminder as a parent.

I think, out of all things that I have experienced in life, parenting is the one thing I have done that is testing my character the most.

In some way, you are expected to fully function, with patience and joy, with very little sleep. Lack of sleep can really challenge my patience.

Also, the endless “Why is that so?” questions from our older daughter, can also at times, really test my patience.

I have always thought that I am a patient person. The lack of patience has never been a struggle for me before being a mom. But I am more humble now, I know we all need to seek god for more patience.

And in the midst of having our patience being challenged, the power of our words is a great reminder. Our words have power. Words can build up and tear down.

I pray that the words I say would be encouraging ones.
