I was looking through the analytics from past years most popular posts in November and December and this one came up. It hardly had any text on it so I decided to update it a bit. So if you see that the post was first published in 2020, keep in mind that the text below is new from 2023.
Winter is Here and so is the Struggle
December is here and officially the winter has started! Winter used to be a close second in my favorite seasons. Fall is my favorite season and it has been for a long time but I have also really liked winter.
I do still like winter but after becoming a parent, the long process of getting out through the door has been a struggle. It is hard to motivate three small children at once to get ready to get out the door.
Even if we are going somewhere they really like, we usually have at least one child who is very resistant to getting ready and going out.
Do You have Any Advice?
I have tried a lot of different techniques, so if you have little ones in your family and have found something that really helps to get ready to leave your home, please leave a comment and give us some advice!
Anyway, just because winter means more clothes to put on before we can get out, winter has dropped a little on my favorite season’s list. It is a little sad, but I also understand it won’t be like this forever.

One thing I do really like with winter though, is the extra time that we get to spend inside doing different kinds of creative things.
Our kids also really like to do different kinds of craft projects. We do a lot of coloring. Most of the time they like to color and draw on just a blank paper, but every once in a while they prefer coloring pages.
Having a few coloring pages on hand that are season-specific is a fun way to be creative together.
The coloring pages in this blog post have quite thin lines and many details so they are best for people with more experience from coloring.

Christmas Coloring Pages, size A4
The coloring pages here above have the size A5 so that they can be used as Christmas cards if you would like to use them like that.
If you want to use them as Christmas cards you can just choose a thicker paper to print them out on to make them a little more Card-like.
The size of the picture is A4 just because it is more common to use that size when you print things out, just to make the process a little more simple for you.

Giving our friends Christmas cards with Bible verses can be a helpful reminder to keep the focus on Jesus through the Christmas season.
December can truly be such a busy season. There is so much to do and so much to prepare. Keeping our eyes on Jesus through it all helps us stay away from most of the Holiday stress.
I think most of us at some point in the end of the year tend to feel the stress of being everywhere and buying all the gifts.
Remembering that Jesus is a Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace is very well needed at times.
For with God Nothing will be Impossible
Jesus changed it all for us. He came to earth to save us. We can now once again live in an intimate relationship with God.
God loves you so much. God created you so that you could live in a relationship with Him. God did not create us to live independent lives. He created you to be close to Him.
God wants to be close to you!
We pray that this Christmas season would be a time when Jesus will be at the center of our lives. Jesus is the reason for the season.
