Encouraging Bible Verses About God’s Plan
Here are some encouraging Bible verses about God’s plan.
The name of this website, Underbart skapad, are the Swedish words for wonderfully made.
Psalm 139 verses 13 and 14 inspired the name of this website. God, the creator of the universe is such an amazing creator. This earth is wonderfully made in such an amazing way.
God knew the plans he had for this earth and for the people living in it before he created it.
I think most of us go through a season in life when we ask the question of why we are here on this earth. Is there a greater plan for our lives?
We believe that God created you, so there is no coincidence about your existence. There is a reason that you were created and your creator has many good plans for you.
God Knows His Plans For You
Many times we can feel confused, why do I exist? What are the plans that God has for me? Am I making the right decisions?
When we are overwhelmed and aren’t sure about our future it is very comforting to know that there is one that does know the plans he has for us.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord. God knows the plans he has for you. God is not confused. So if you ever feel confused and lost you can know that there is a God that isn’t confused.
Whenever in life when I have been unsure of what the best decision is to make in a certain situation I have always felt so comforted when I have had a friend or a colleague that have known a good way forward.
When we are confused it is so nice to be in the company of someone that isn’t confused.
God is not confused, He says that he knows the plans he has for us. In Jeremiah chapter 29 the people of Judah had been taken captive and lived in Babylon. It was a hard season for the people and God reminded them that He still knew the plans he had for them.
And the plans God has for us are plans that are so good. He created all of us with such love and care and he also has so many good things in store for us.
The Plans Of The Lord Stand Firm Forever – Bible Verses About God’s Plan
“But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
Psalm 33:11
the purposes of his heart through all generations.”
The plans of the Lord stand firm forever. The purposes of God’s heart stand firm through all generations.
In times when we maybe are thinking about the future and we feel uncertain about what the future holds it is comforting to know that the plans of the Lord stand firm forever.
The never-changing character of God will always stay with us, he will always be with us.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
Psalm 32:8
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”
God wants to instruct and teach us in the way that we should go. God wants to be present with us in our everyday lives. We are not left alone in our struggles. God has his loving eye on us.
Seeking God First
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
Proverbs 3:5-6
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.”
“In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” I have learned that God wants to be a part of the whole process.
Sometimes I think we have the tendency to make plans and then ask God to bless them but I have learned that we can seek him first and make plans together with him.
God is interested in our lives, he wants to be a part of our everyday lives. Our Father wants to guide us. God created us in a way so that we can communicate with him, we can talk to him and experience his response.
Invited To An Adventure With Him
God wants to do things together with us.
This last week we read the book of Ester in a small group in our church and the verse that stood out to me was the verse from chapter 4 and verse 14.
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?””
Esther 4:14
If you aren’t familiar with the story of Esther, you might want to look up that before you continue reading. Here is a link to a video by the Bible Project that summarized the book of Esther very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JydNSlufRIs
In Chapter 4 Mordecai persuades Esther to help in saving the Jews.
What stood out to me last week was that Mordecai didn’t say that Esther was the only hope of the Jews. Mordecai was confident that relief and deliverance for the Jews would rise from another place if Esther chose to not act.
But Esther was invited to take action and play an important role in saving her people.
I think that life with God is like that many times. We are invited into an adventure with God, we get to choose if we want to play the role of bringing the good news to the people around us.
But the choice is left to us. God always respects our free will. God wants to bring us closer to him and he wants to invite us into a life when we get to be the salt and light of this world.

We are all in different seasons of life, some of feel like our future is still very wide open and some of us are is a season when we know what is coming next.
God wants to communicate with us no matter what season we are in.
Writing down what God is highlighting in scripture right now is one way of letting him guide us in the season we are in right now.
