It’s August and where we live you can see field after field full of wheat ready to harvest. The weather is still pretty warm so when we take a car ride outside the city we live in to go swimming the fields are so beautiful!

Fall reminds me of God’s faithfulness. He is so good to us!

As the weather gets colder little by little it’s the perfect time to take some time for coloring. To be honest I think I enjoy it as much as our children. 😉

A new season brings new challenges and blessings.

For us as a family, this new season means that we are now starting everyday life with three kids. It sure is very intense. Dealing with tantrums has been one of the biggest challenges in my life thus far that really tests my patience.

But I want to remember that there is a time for everything.

This is not my time of drinking my coffee hot and doing household chores uninterrupted.

This is my time to clean up as we are potty-training our son and doing lots of laundry.

But it’s also a season filled with blessings.

I get to have lots and lots of snuggles with our two-month-old daughter and see our older kids grow and learn new things every day.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Having a grateful heart is the key to joy. True joy comes from God and knowing who he is and walking in His purposes.

Rejoice always. Pray. Give thanks.

God is so so good!

These verses have been some of my favorites for a very long time now. These verses stuck with me when I read through the bible for the first time over ten years ago.

I always seem to come back to them. As life gets more and more full and I feel stressed at times, these words are the ones God reminds me of.
