The fall is almost here! As you might have guessed if you have been following along for a time now, fall is my favorite time of year! 🙂

“To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven”
Ecclesiastes 3:1

To everything, there is a season. Fall time is a new season and it brings many blessings. The seeds that were sown in the spring are now ready for harvest.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11-13

Fall is also a very very beautiful time. The leaves and the trees are changing color. God created everything as a gift for us to enjoy.

Every season has its blessings and new lessons to learn.

Inviting God and letting him decide what this season will bring is such an exciting thing to do. He will always be faithful to you, never leave you or forsake you.

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6

At the time we read about in Deuteronomy 31 when Joshua was the new leader of Israel, these were the words he gave them.

I will never leave you or forsake you!

Especially when God is leading you into something new, this is a good reminder.

As you are entering new things that God is leading you into, these are words that are true for you too!

When God calls, he equips. He will not call you to something he hasn’t equipped you for.

This season is a time when God wants to show you new things and he invites you to go deeper with him. He is so so faithful!

Looking around at the creation, we know it shows so much about the creator. There is so much beauty in the creation, the trees, lakes, and mountains speak about God’s character. He is so creative and he is so good.

He gives you all the blessings that fall brings as a gift to you to enjoy.

God is a very good father. You are so loved by him!

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

It’s so easy to give in to fear when God is calling us into something new but know he has given you a spirit of power and love!

Go will provide!

Let’s enter this fall knowing his promises and being obedient to the words that he has spoken over our lives.
