Here are some free printable simple winter coloring pages.
Tomorrow is the first day of December and officially Winter is here!
These last days the snow has been falling here where we live and finally it is actually sticking to the ground. Last night we went sledding with our children for the first time. It was such a fun time!
We are really looking forward to more days like that enjoying the snow!
In this blog post, there are some free printable coloring pages for winter with snowflakes, but first I want to tell you this fun thing that happened earlier today!
This Has Never Happened Before
I just have to tell you! Today I had this really (for me) crazy experience! I have been making these free printable coloring pages for three years now.
In the first months, I made every coloring page with text both in Swedish and English, but as life got busier I could not keep up and now I publish them only in English.
Anyhow, this morning, I went to my oldest daughter’s school in the morning and as we were putting her jacket away I saw one of my old coloring pages printed out and colored in the hallway.
Some teacher in her school had found my coloring page online and printed it out for the kids to color. I’m quite sure they have no idea who designed the coloring page, it was just so fun to see that these coloring pages are used and that some people actually enjoy them. 😀
As I saw the coloring page I had to look twice, because I had never seen one of our coloring pages just randomly like that in a place I didn’t expect it.
Having a website, publishing free printables, and writing a blog sometimes feels a lot like just one-way communication. So seeing that people actually enjoy the things we publish was a big encouragement to me!
So thank you, teacher, for choosing our coloring page for the kids! 😀

Feeling a little encouraged from this morning, we keep on publishing new coloring pages. Here are some simple winter coloring pages for you.
These coloring sheets are free to download and print out but we ask you NOT to upload them to another website or blog without our permission!
How To Color Snowflakes
When it comes to coloring, I would say that there is no right or wrong.
Anyhow, if you are around smaller kids you know that there are questions about almost anything.
So if you stumble over this question of how to color snowflakes, I would say that there is no snowflake that looks like another. They are all unique.
Snow is white when it lies on the ground. When you see the sunlight reflecting on it it can shimmer in all kinds of different colors.
Feel free to be very creative on how to color these coloring pages.
As snow is very glittery when the sun is shining, you could also make it fun by adding some glitter to the coloring page in the end.
Winter Bible Verse
“As the rain and the snow
Isaiah 55:11-11
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
it will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

This verse about snow reminds me of God’s intention with His words. God’s word has the power to change lives and communities.
My prayer is that I would allow God’s word to change my life! I don’t want to conform any longer to the pattern of this world.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:2
When we let God’s Word transform us, we will know God’s will, His good, pleasing and perfect will!
I pray that God’s word always would have the final say in my life.
Going into a new year it feels like a fresh start. I really hope that 2024 will be a year when God’s word won’t return without achieving the purpose for which He sent it.
