Fall Knitting Plans – FREE Patterns
September is here, the weather is getting cooler, and over the last couple of weeks, the grass has turned green again after a really dry summer.
Summer is lovely, but I always get excited about fall. Getting back into routines, the cozy weather, the beautiful colors in the trees—it is all so nice! And it’s also such a lovely season for knitting.
After a warm and really nice summer of crocheting, we are back to knitting again.
Right now, I am in a green season. Green has been my favorite color for so long, but for some reason, I haven’t been knitting much in green before.
Lately, though, I have seen so many different shades of green in the yarn stores I have visited. It seems like I’m not the only one who is into green at the moment!
Fall Knitting Plans
The first project I finished this fall is another one of my favorite knitted beanies. I have a pattern for it here on the website, and I’ll leave the link to the knitting pattern here: https://underbartskapad.com/how-to-knit-a-hat-with-circular-needles/
This time, I knitted it with a green yarn I found when I was in Finland during the summer. I’m very happy with how it turned out!

The next thing I have on my needles at the moment is a scarf. The inspiration behind the scarf is this knitting pattern:

I ended up choosing to knit the scarf in a rib stitch instead of following the pattern, but the increases are made in the same way as in the pattern above.

My First Knitted Sweater
And… as a project for this fall, I have the idea of knitting my first real sweater for myself. I have knitted sweaters for my children, but I have not yet finished a sweater for an adult. So maybe this is the time!
I think it would be a really nice challenge to take on.
So, if you are a knitter who likes to knit sweaters, please leave me all the tips you have below!
I hope you, too, will have a really blessed start to this fall season. I am so happy to have this space to share knitting inspiration, and I am so happy that so many of you have found this website.
Please feel free to leave a comment about what you would like to see on the blog next.
Blessings
