Sunshine Coloring Pages – Summer 2026

I am surprised every year, as summer gets closer, by how popular free printable coloring pages still seem to be. In a world of AI and all kinds of tools, I remember reading somewhere a couple of years ago that no one would use traditional coloring pages anymore because you can so easily make your own.

However, that doesn’t seem to be true yet, at least. Summer seems to be the season for coloring, and for many years in a row, this coloring page has popped up as one of our most popular posts on Pinterest.

This year is no exception. This coloring page seem to be as popular as the last few years. And who doesn’t need some sunshine!?

Most of us can agree that sunshine really has the power to turn our days around. I have been enjoying the sun so soo much these last few weeks. These last few weeks have been so intense in so many different ways but almost every morning we wake up to the sun shining through our window.

Sunshine in the morning really sets the tone for the day in a really good way.

I really hope that you also have had a fair amount of sun where you live as well.

For many of us, summer also means vacation. And I think many of us are looking forward to that as summer gets closer.

“He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.”
Psalm 23:2–3

Summer can be a season when these verses become very practical. I have learned that these verses are true no matter what our lives look like. In busy seasons, God meets us with so much grace, and in slower seasons, we get to seek Him in a way that busy seasons might prevent us from doing.

One of my goals for this summer is to read more. I hope I will prioritize slow moments spent reading a book. And I hope my children will let me. 😉
