By the time this blog post is getting published, September is a couple of days away, and the fall is officially starting very soon.
In this household, we are back to our normal routines, and as always, I really like this time of year. The weather is a little cooler but the days are still long and bright, and even if it’s cooling down it’s still not too cold either.
Soon the trees will turn into all these beautiful colors. We are really looking forward to that.
Right where we live, we have a lot of oak trees and acorns are starting to fall down onto the pavements. Acorns are therefore very connected with fall around here.

During fall, there is time for harvest of all the things that have been growing during summer. It is also a time when the colors in nature change. Everything that felt so alive during summer will slowly enter the winter season.
Fall is very cozy, it’s time for warmer clothes, blankets, and candles. I really enjoy it, especially in the first weeks, when fall goes on and the weather is very wet and it gets even colder and darker, there are days when I long for summer again. 😉
But, through it all, we can be sure that there is one thing that never changes. God will never change. The word of God endures forever.
God is so faithful.
During these last few weeks, I have really tried to get back to a daily Bible-reading routine. I have realized that reading a few verses before starting my day, makes a huge impact on have the day unfolds.
God’s word is so encouraging. Reading his word at the beginning of the day makes me remember what God says and get my focus right for the day.
Right now, we have three quite small kids and they have many big emotions during the day. For me, it is important to remember that there is joy, peace, and patience in God and that he is with us even when life feels challenging.
