Are you a person that likes it when things happen fast. Patience might not be your strongest attribute. Well then maybe you, just like me, sometimes are a little too inpatient in the kitchen, you set the stove on high heat and the food you are cooking gets burnt.

I am a very impatient person in so many different ways. I have had to learn the hard way how to clean really badly burnt pots in the kitchen. Otherwise we would have no pots left ;D.

But as you do something many times you find your best and easiest ways to do them.

After trying many different techniques, I have found one way to clean badly burnt pots in a effective way. So here it is.

How To Clean A Burnt Pot With Baking Soda

Are you struggling to find an efficient way to clean a burnt pan or pot? I understand how hard it can be because I have been there, multiple times. As I said, I’m not the most patient one in the kitchen.

But there is a way to clean even the most burnt pots that until this day have worked every time for me. It is very simple, the only things you need are baking soda, water, and a cleaning brush.

Start with sprinkling a tablespoon of baking soda on the bottom of the pot and add a couple of cups of water. Let it boil for a couple of minutes.

Now, wait a few hours. I usually leave it like that over night.

Now you will be able to remove all the burnt stuff from your pot with a cleaning brush pretty easily.

Problem solved! 😉

Hopefully your pot will be as good as new.
