you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

God saw You when you were in your mother’s womb. He knit You together.
He already knew about your personality and gifts before you were born. His thoughts and plans for you were there before you were born.
We can read in Genesis chapter one that God created this whole universe and later he created humans in his image.
This universe and all of us exist because God wanted us to exist and has a plan for us. God is our designer and knows us so well.
God wants to show us his intentions for this world and our lives. If we choose to do so, we get to live our lives together with our designer.
Knitting, knitting, knitting
I love knitting, maybe you do too. Knitting takes time, knitting even a small mitten or sock takes time. When God made You He also took time to make you the person that you are.
In Psalm 139 verse 13 the word knitting did not refer to this kind of knitting of course. But I think it is a cool comparison. 😀
I have had an idea of making some coloring pages like these for quite a while so today was the day to go from idea to action.
Maybe you, just like me, really like knitting and know the effort that goes into knitting something. Knitting is not a fast handicraft. Sewing a hat is so much more time efficient than knitting. But knitting is a very relaxing activity.

Your Heavenly Father is not far away. He knows You very well. He created you. He knows the purpose of Your life.
Sometimes it can be hard to understand that God at the same time as he sees the whole world and is the creator of it all still has the capacity to see the small details.
God is interested in every part of our lives.
