Vanilla Coffee Syrup Recipe
Here is a vanilla coffee syrup recipe on how to easily make your own homemade coffee syrup.
I really like a nice cup of coffee. As a busy stay-at-home mom with three kids, I appreciate a coffee a couple of times a day.
Sometimes I don’t find time to sit down though, sometimes I heat it up multiple times before I get the chance to have it but coffee is coffee, I really appreciate it.
Most of the time I just make a simple coffee with our coffee maker and add some milk to it but sometimes it is nice to add something to it.
Adding some sweetness to your coffee is a nice way to make it extra delicious and coffee syrup is my favorite way to do that.
Homemade coffee syrup is really easy to make and you can add your favorite spices and flavors to it.
Here is a recipe on how to make a coffee syrup with a taste of vanilla.
Vanilla Coffee Syrup Recipe
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Put water and sugar into a saucepan. Bring to gentle boil and add some vanilla extract. Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes.
Let it cool and put into a container.
I store the coffee syrup in a glass bottle that I sterilize with boiling water before pouring in the coffee syrup.
That is how easy it is! This coffee syrup is definitely worth the 20 minutes it takes to make it!
