Homemade Granola Recipe
Here is a homemade granola recipe that has become our favorite in our family.
In recent years, breakfast during the weekends has become one of my favorite moments of the week. Taking some time and finding new breakfast recipes is very fun and I have found some new favorites. One of them is homemade granola.
Homemade granola tastes so much better than the ones you find in the store and is very easy to make. Homemade granola is easy to vary with different things you like.
If you like granola but never have tried to make your own, then you should try this recipe. I have tried many different granola recipes and the recipe I like the most is this one. It is very easy to make. This recipe is definitely worth the 20 minutes it takes to make it.
Homemade Granola Recipe
10 dl(4,2 cups) old-fashioned oats
2 tablespoons rapeseed oil
2 tablespoons syrup
1 pinch of salt
1 dl raisins
0.5 dl sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons flax seeds
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius(350 F). Pour the rapeseed oil and syrup into a bowl and add a pinch of salt. Stir. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until everything is mixed with the oil and syrup.
Spread the mix on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Put in the oven for 7-8 minutes. Try to keep the time, otherwise, everything will start to taste like popcorn. 😉
Homemade Granola In Different Ways
The recipe can be varied according to taste. If you like nuts, you can add some, or if you like dried fruit of some kind, you can include them.
You can also add some favorite spices to the oil and syrup mixture. I have tried cinnamon and cardamom and both turned out really well. The rapeseed oil can be replaced with coconut oil, feel free to try out different combinations.
